In the reading for Yancey the term reflection is tossed around alot. She defines reflection as a way for writers to be able to reflect and revisit their work to evaluate it and see what worked and what did not. Reflection can be used for so many things other than just writing. It can be used in your other classes to reflect on your class work for that class and it can even be used to reflect on your day at work or just life in general. Reflecting gives us the opportunity to take a time out and improve on our work. The website I found describes reflection as a thought, idea or opinion formed or a remark made as a result of meditation. Between the two definitions there are obvious differences yet in my opinion the overall idea is the same.
